THE TARATIBU YOUTH ASSOCIATION IS LOOKING FOR STARS THAT WANT TO SHARE THEIR SHINE WITH THE WORLD THIS SPRING!
We are holding auditions for our two performing companies: Bantu (8 to 18 years old) and Maasai (18 years and up).
If you or your child, friend, or cousin, love to dance, sing and perform culturally conscious and empowering work; learn through the arts, travel the world and touch the minds and hearts of many; then TYA is for you! We provide classes in vocal music, physical fitness, ballet, modern dance, West African dance, South African gumboot and Taratibu, a Pan African Drill. TYA is a wholistic organization providing sessions in Health & Wellness and Mindfulness in addition to the artistic training. We supplement our training with international travel and global and local community service projects. We welcome you to audition to join our amazing organization!
AUDITIONS WILL BE HELD:
Date: Saturday, April 6, 2024
Time: 10:00am to 3:00pm (be prepared to stay the whole time)

Please be prepared with:
1. A song,
2. Dance/movement, and
3. Poem, or monologue
Each piece should not exceed 1 minute.
Please dress in loose or workout clothes and be ready work and have fun!!
